This little guy was just as curious about me as I was about him. Isn’t he soooo cute!

This is another picture found from my forgotten Flickr account.  I also found out something very interesting that I had no idea one could do from a WordPress site and that is posting a photo directly from Flickr!  That makes things so much easier.

This is a photo I took while at Nags Head in the Outer Banks in north Carolina. I just love this little guy as every time I was about to snap the shutter….he’d move. Totally gone.  I took this about a year ago and put it on Flickr and forgot about it….here it is now,  a bit dusty but just as enjoyable to me as when I shot it.   I hope you like it too!

Pool Man

An early morning shot of our diligent pool man out there before the guests working to keep his pool clean! Every night the elements toss sand, sand and more sand into his pool and everyday he is there cleaning the pool! Thank You Pool Man, Thank You.Here is a dawn shot of the maintenance man out cleaning and caring for the pool before any guests get up and out into the pool. His job is relentless and every night the elements conspire against him and toss sand, sand and more sand into his pool. Bravo Pool Man! You make vacations!

Dolphins in the Waves

This was an Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin that was interested in the boat and jumped up to get a better look at us. There were two babies in this pod and they were sooooo cute! These are two of the adults. These dolphins were really close to shore, kinda makes one wonder about what else is swimming just below the waves……unseen……(que Jaws music…) :^0

Glass Building

Here is a shot of a medical research building in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I liked the stark coldness of the wall and the industrial way the windows appear. I made one copy with lots of noise and one copy without so much noise. Right now, I am liking this one with lots and lots of noise!

Winston-Salem North Carolina Skyline (softened)

As I left the downtown area, I stopped to look at some construction that is going on. After watching the tractors for a while, I walked back to the car and saw this nice view of Winston-Salem. The center building is the R.J. Reynolds office building. It is an art deco building. I entered the building one time a few years ago when I was walking around the downtown area. I was drawn to the beauty of the outside of the building and the details it carries. I was intrigued to see the inside. The interior of the building is very beautiful! Unfortunately, R.J. Reynolds does not allow visitors and I was quickly, but politely, shown the door as I had no business to conduct there. I would LOVE to tour this building just to see the architectural beauty that lies within! The lobby is totally art deco that seems locked in time. I’d love to photograph the inside!
